Rookies make mistakes, but Bryden Trawick’s mistake of running into teammate Jacoby Jones is a tough pill to swallow. In his first NFL game, Trawick, a special teams player lost track of the ball on kick off return and collided with Jones who was calling for a fair catch.
Both players were injured on the play with Jones getting the bad end of the stick, a sprained MCL that will keep him out of the lineup for 4-6 weeks and leaves the Ravens to cope with losing one of their most explosive players.
“Just lost sight of the returner, pretty much. “I was just trying to block my man and lost sight of where Jacoby was. It’s unfortunate that I ran into him. I’ve just got to have more awareness there.”
Got to be more careful!
