KKK “White Pride Radio” Billboard Creates Controversy in Arkansas

How would you feel if you were driving down the street and saw a huge billboard for “White Pride Radio,” a station run by KKK members? That’s exactly what thousands of drivers experience during the commute via Highway 65 in Arkansas.

The Knights Club of the Ku Klux Klan is sponsoring a new Arkansas billboard that endorses “White Pride Radio.”

The sign along Highway 65 says “It’s not racist to love your people” and it’s eliciting reactions that are decidedly mixed.

But the mayor of Harrison, where the sign is located, thinks the message is pretty blatant. And unwelcome.

Thomas Robb, director of The Knights Club of the Ku Klux Klan said, “The message is white people have the right to be proud of who they are. Everybody else has a right to be proud and I don’t deny that.” h/t nydailynews.com
